Leksika
Leksika is a Russian vocabulary app designed for passive, low-friction learning, so the words come to you through the day instead of demanding a study session. The idea came out of my own years with the language. The words that stayed were the ones I met between other things, on a sign or in someone’s mouth; the ones from Sunday drill sessions mostly left.
Underneath is a dictionary of about ninety thousand words, stress-marked on the headwords, the inflected forms, and the example sentences, with CEFR levels on the five thousand most common. I built it alone in Swift and SwiftUI and carried it through every stage myself: design, development, App Store release management, localized store listings, and the business side with an optional Leksika+ subscription. It runs on iPhone with home-screen widgets and a companion Apple Watch app, so a new word is never more than a glance away.
Leksika is live on the App Store.
