Kazakh has a word, «сөйле», that means “speak.” I spent a semester at Nazarbayev University in Astana and came home convinced that Kazakh learners deserved better tools than they had, so I built one and named it for that word.

Soyle works the way Leksika does, for Kazakh: words that surface through your day on iPhone, widgets, and Apple Watch instead of waiting inside a flashcard deck. Underneath are 17,752 words and 1,298 phrases sorted into fifty topics, all of it on the phone, so it works with no signal. Like its sister app, it is a solo build in Swift and SwiftUI, shipped and maintained by me from design through App Store release management.
